Born from MEI’s experience in manufacturing lens edging machines, EasyFit Trend is the innovative sustainable alternative to the grinding wheel for opticians that features a compact design and a user friendly interface.
Thanks to the extreme precision in lens cutting, you won’t need to warm up the frame or rework your lens, and you’ll be able to fit it the first time!
No water to cut lenses, with saving about 1 million liters per year and no need for a filter system to be installed and maintained. Make a sustainable choice, for the environment and for your wallet.
Blocks and pads are eliminated. You load right and left lenses at once, without blocking them, in a easy and immediate way thanks to the integrated lensometer.
The built-in inspection instruments assure the automatic precise measurement of all optical parameter, avoiding any other inspection process before or after the edging.
With the Engraving function, you can create totally customized lenses with logos, drawings, initials, and icons.
It is a polished decorative element for rimless ophthalmic lenses, located on the front and back of the lens. With Smart Facets, you can satisfy all your customers’ requests!

EasyFit Trend is the only lens cutting machine able to edge every kind of bevel (bevel, rimless, nylor, drilling, polishing, safety bevel, T-bevel, step back, …) with every inclination (up to base 16) in one single process.
Simplified, user friendly interface on a 17” touchscreen monitor to guarantee the best user experience with the lens cutting machine. Immediate lens placement with the integrated lensometer: blocks and pads are eliminated.
Automatic calibration of the machine and tools makes it easy for the machine operator to replace the tools themselves, without the need of MEI technician’s intervention.
